We had hoped that your absence was due to a piece of self-censorship, but it appears we were wrong. You're quite right, however, in noting that the Great and Good seem to have stopped writing for The Times. With the demise of James Murdoch, it could be that nepotism may no longer rule in writers for The Times and we could see some famous household names disappearing from their columns - assuming of course they use their father's name in the first place!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
